Justice League - Doomsday 26” Maquette Statue

“I’ve always been here, and I’ll always be here.”

Doom is coming for the heroes of the DC Universe!

At a monstrous 26.5” tall, the Doomsday Maquette Statue by Sideshow Collectibles is sure to strike fear into your DC Comics collection. Doomsday was created in a manner of extreme violence on the harsh prehistoric Krypton, by a process of repeatedly dying and then being recloned as a form of accelerated natural evolution. The agony of these repeated deaths was recorded in his genes, resulting in the ultimate killing machine, but also a seething hatred for all life.

Doomsday has been a fearsome foe for decades within the DC Universe, but is most prominently known for his appearance in the Death of Superman storyline, where the Kryptonian beast and the Man of Steel fought an epic battle to the death.

The polyresin statue has been intricately sculpted to capture the incredible physical physique and otherworldly appearance of Doomsday, featuring highly detailed green leg armour as the remnants of his containment suit, and countless jagged spikes covering his powerful body.

Doomsday stands victoriously atop a detailed rubble base littered with relics from the valiant heroes who have fallen in his wake, including Wonder Woman’s sword, Aquaman’s trident and Batman’s shattered cowl. Several Batarangs are also embedded into the beast’s chest and shoulders, and a Green Lantern ring has been forced onto his finger in a brutal display of force. As a symbol of his ultimate victory, Doomsday clutches the tattered fabric remains of Superman’s cape, which includes internal wiring for posing and can be removed for display options.
